On behalf of the Board of Directors of Fundación Manos Juntas, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved founder and Medical Director, Dr. Marcus Boyd Shook, on December 23, 2022 at the age of 89.

Dr. Shook was a gifted clinician, caring mentor, generous friend, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was the heart of our clinic and our community for many years, and his contributions will not be forgotten. He was a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider, always putting the needs of our patients first.
